DELIVERY

Dispatch of your items

If you place your Express order before 1pm Monday to Friday your item will be dispatched the same day. After this time your item will be sent out the following working day. Payments made by PayPal e-cheque will take longer to be dispatched, this is not a recommended payment method. To ensure a fast dispatch please pay using Stripe. All orders are final so before submitting an order please ensure all details are correct, once your order has been dispatched we are unable to change the shipping address and cancel orders. If you no longer want your item you will need to send the item back to our Returns Department for a refund. Orders placed after 1:30pm maybe cancelled via telephone, please call us with your order number to see if this is possible. 

Standard Delivery: £3.99

All deliveries are recorded and will require a signature upon transfer, if you are unavailable please ensure someone is at the address stated to sign for the delivery. Alternatively you may wish to consider having the parcel delivered to an alternative address such as your place of work. If for some reason there is nobody to sign, a card will be left by carrier with instructions on how to arrange a redelivery or a pick up from your local delivery office. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, Isles of Scilly and Channel Islands may take up to 5 working days. Unfortunately deliveries do not take place on bank holidays, in this instance please expect your delivery on the next working day

Express Delivery: £5.99

Next day

This service is for United Kingdom customers only. From Monday to Thursday orders must be made before 1pm to ensure next day delivery. Next day delivery parcels cannot be delivered on Saturday, Sunday or any bank holidays. Orders placed before 1pm Friday will be delivered the following Monday. If you place an order after 1pm on Friday the earliest you will recieve your order is Tuesday depending on the delivery option selected. All deliveries will require a signature upon transfer, if you are unavailable please ensure someone is at the address stated to sign for the delivery. Alternatively have the parcel delivered to an alternative address such as your place of work.

Saturday Express Delivery: £9.95

This service is for United Kingdom customers only. Orders must be made before 1pm on Friday to ensure delivery on Saturday. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm, please ensure to be available to accept and sign for the parcel. All deliveries will require a signature upon transfer, if you are unavailable please ensure someone is at the address stated to sign for the delivery. Alternatively have the parcel delivered to an alternative address such as your place of work. This delivery option is not available over bank holidays and we are unable to refund your delivery charge if you choose to select this option over a bank holiday.

If for some reason there is nobody to sign, a card will be left by carrier with instructions on how to arrange a re delivery or a pick up from your local delivery office. This service is not available to the following postcodes: GY, HS2, PA61, PA62, PA78, ZE2-3, KW16-7, PH30, PH41, PH42, PH43. This service is only for United Kingdom Customers. Please note that we are unable to delivery to PO boxes and RFPO’s.

Please note: Skirt and Stiletto can not guarantee delivery on Saturday if inclement weather causes delays or disruptions to your delivery/mail service. 

Delivery outside of the UK

We are happy to deliver to you anywhere in the world but please note that delays may occur at the point of customs/duties, these delay are beyond our control. 
Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

European International Delivery: £8.99

BANK HOLIDAY NOTICE: Please note that we do not dispatch or deliver on bank holidays as our offices are closed. If you have ordered Express Delivery or Saturday Delivery your item will be dispatched on the next working day.  

RETURNS

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can simply return the item or items to us in it's original condition and all tags intact within 14 days of receipt. We will issue a full refund (excluding original delivery charge) on receipt. All sale items with the value of less than £15.00 are non-returnable, however, if the item is unsuitable we are able to issue a credit note. When trying on items of clothing, please make sure that they do not come in contact with anything that may mark or add scent to them, for e.g. Perfume, deodorant, smoke etc. We will be unable to accept any returned item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been adhered to. The item or items must be returned to us by post enclosed with the returns note stating the purpose of return and any other enclosed documentation. If you have lost your returns note, just simply enclose a piece of paper with your order details and name.

We only provide pre-paid postal returns for UK customers, so when sending an item(s) back it is your responsibility that it reaches us safely and within the returns time frame. We will not allocate time to locate missing parcels if you do not possess relevant tracking details, or if you have not included your returns form complete with name/order number. For the international customers we recommend that you send item(s) back using a recorded delivery service that insures you the value of the goods. Please keep all proof of postage safe until you receive your refund. All products purchased from www.skirtandstiletto.com must only be returned to us by post and cannot be returned to any other Skirt and Stiletto store or concession, or by hand. Products purchased from stores and concessions cannot be returned to us, they must be returned to the store they were purchased from. We cannot accept responsibility for any items that have not been purchased from this website. The length of time refunds take may vary depending on the card issuer. This is outside of our control. Please allow up to 4 weeks for the refund to be processed. We will only refund the same card from which the original payment was taken from, if your card has expired since payment was made please make sure you let us know your new details. You will receive a confirmation email from us to confirm the refund. We do not accept exchanges.

Faulty/ Incorrect Items

Although all products are rigorously inspected before dispatch mistakes can still be made. If the item you received is faulty or not what you purchased, then proceed with the return by filling out the returns form found within your parcel with 1) clear customer name, customer order number and reason for return. You have 14 days from receipt to return it to back to us.

Delivery costs will also be refunded if the product dispatched is faulty or if the wrong item were to be received.

Postage Refund

In the case that you are returning a faulty item and require your postage costs refunded, we require a copy of the postage receipt which clearly states the amount paid by the sender. A copy of this can be sent via email to info@skirtandstiletto.com or enclosed with the returned parcel. We will only refund standard shipping costs and will not pay for express/special shipping or any other additional insurance costs. We will only refund the postage costs for the faulty item. If you choose to send other items back in the same parcel, we will divide the shipping costs by however many items are in the parcel and pay whatever it equals. Refunds of this nature are paid by cheque, only after the faulty item has been received by our returns department and our returns department have found there to be a manufacturing fault with the product.  Cheques are made payable to the billing name on the order and cannot be made payable to anyone else. We do not offer postage refunds if the correct garment care instructions have not been adhered to or if the garments faults are in line with normal wear and tear.

Credit Vouchers

All credit's issued through www.skirtandstiletto.com in place of an exchange are not redeemable for cash quantities. Credit vouchers can only be used as credit for items on www.skirtandstiletto.com.

DELIVERY

1)      What delivery options do you have?

For UK & NI Ireland customers we offer three delivery services: Standard which is £3.99, Express which is £5.99 & Saturday Delivery which is £9.95. For European customers we have our standard European Delivery which cost’s £8.99.  For customers outside of Europe we have standard International Delivery which cost’s £13.99.


2)      Can you ship express to International Customers?

Unfortunately at present we do not offer express international shipping.

3)      Can I make changes to my order?

Unfortunately, once you've placed your order it is not possible to amend any details, as our warehouse team will have already started processing your order.

4)      Can I cancel my order?

We start processing your order as soon as we receive it. This means that once your order has been placed, you will be unable to cancel it.

5)      Can I apply a discount code after an order has been placed?

Unfortunately, once you've placed your order it is not possible to apply a discount.

 

Please note that due to the busy period, you may experience delays in receiving your refund.

1)      What is your returns policy?

For a full refund please send your item(s) back within 14 days, we do not accept exchanges. Any items sent back to us after this time will not be refunded.  Only items sent back in their original condition including the tag are eligible for a refund.  Please also ensure you complete the returns form to ensure your refund is processed timely & accurately.  We cannot be held accountable for returns sent back without a returns form or which do not contain a name/order number. If you have lost your order number simply email us at info@skirtandstiletto.com with your full billing and shipping names and we will email this to you. Please note we cannot process returns according to a set date our aim is to process all refunds within 14 working days of receipt.

2)      I’ve gone over the 14 day refund window & what can I do?

If this is the case please email and inform customer care. Once we receive your return we will create an online credit code for the same amount as the item you’ve returned. This code is essentially store credit & can be used to purchase another item or put towards different items, however the code must be used within three months.

3)      Do you offer any leniency for international customers who cannot get their items back within 14 days?

Of course, we understand it can be difficult for our international customers to get their returns back within the 14 day window. Therefore we always look into the tracking information to see when you would have received the item, and allocate a reasonable amount of time in addition to this, of when you could realistically get the item back to us.

4)      How will I know if I have been refunded?

Providing you used a valid email address when you used a valid email address when you placed your initial order, you should receive an email stating your refund amount once the refund has been processed.

5)      I’ve received an email saying I’ve been sent a refund but the money isn’t showing in my account yet, why is this & when will I receive my refund?

Once a refund is successfully processed an automated email will be sent confirming this, after the email is sent it usually takes around 3 working days for the money to go back into your account. If you haven’t received your refund after 7 days please let us know so we can contact our payments provider. Unfortunately we are unable to investigate if your refund hasn’t shown in less than this time (7 days).Please also ensure the card you initially paid on is still active (not expired), if your card has expired or you’ve been sent a replacement we will be unable to process your refund. In this event we will try and contact you via phone or email, to obtain the updated card details.

6)      What can I do if I receive a faulty item?

It is extremely rare that you should receive a faulty item from us, as our items our checked using the most stringent quality control methods. However we can appreciate there are times when this may occur (in transit for example). The best thing to do is at your earliest convenience complete the enclosed returns form, stating that the item is faulty as well as a brief explanation of the fault, then simply post it back to us for a refund or credit voucher code. If you would like the postage refunded for sending it back to us, please slip a copy of the postage receipt in the bag or email it to us at: info@skirtandstiletto.com.

9)      If I am ordering from outside the UK can I claim my VAT back?

As you are purchasing goods from the UK, we are legally obliged to charge you VAT. VAT is calculated from the place items are purchased from, not where they are being delivered to. This also means that unfortunately you will also be unable to claim this cost back. For more information you can check out the HMRC rules at the UK GOV page.

10)      How should I send my item back to you?

If the initial postage bag is re-usable most of our customers recycle this when sending items back to us, otherwise a mail bag, box or large envelope is absolutely fine. The delivery method is completely up to you. Things you may want to consider are: dependant on how long you have left for a return, the safest/most secure delivery service & the value of the contents. It is recommended to use Royal Mail as we receive post from them on a daily basis and to retain your receipt from the post office, as proof of delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure the items your returning or exchanging get back to us & we cannot take responsibility for items that are lost, nor will we look into lost items on your behalf.
